Notes:
The Valkyrie is an attempt to bring more fighter coverage to NSL
battlegroups. An experimental refit of a Maria Von Burgund hull, only two
were constructed. The design does away with the pulse torpedo launcher and
two of the Class 3 batteries but adds two Class 2 batteries and a Class 1
battery in addition to an enhanced sensor suite and the fighter bay. The
BBCV is limited to a single fighter group, enough to add coverage to a
battlegroup but not enough to upset the NSL doctrine of light fighter
support.
This design will not be carried on, though the merit in it is recognized.
