The SOVREMENNY ("Modern") class battleship was the ESU's answer to
the NAC's VICTORIA class battleship. This is a relatively new ship to the
VSK's fleet, so not many have been built - yet! It is designed to operate on
independent patrols and so follows the VSK doctrine of not mounting expendable
ordnance. So far early use of the SOVs have met with favorable results
