Notes:
[Data note: Cost recalculated from the original "Cost: 162" to "Cost: 158" - ftsrj.js's cost calculator (confirmed accurate against Fleet Book 1's own "Mass and Points Cost Table") doesn't reconcile with this ship's originally declared cost; the original submission's declared cost never matched its own listed components. The bracketed figure is the cost with a standard fighter complement aboard, present only for ships with Fighter Bays.]
Like the Cagliastro, the Shangri-La is a modified ship belonging to another
major power--in this case, the Eurasian Solar Union's Tibet class light
cruiser. The Tibet class is no longer being produced, and New Bavaria has been
able to obtain a substantial quantity of decommissioned ships for their own
use. As standard practice, two Class 2 Beam Systems are removed, and replaced
with a pair of Needle Beam Systems.
[Data note: Added "(Military)" to the Hull line - this record had no Military/Merchant type suffix at all. Recovered from its declared Crew (3) matching the Military Crew Factor formula (ceil(48/20) = 3), not the Merchant one (ceil(48/50) = 1).]
