Notes:
The Planet class's main objective is survival. It is intended to meet an
incoming invasion fleet and survive long enough to allow other
system/planetary defence forces to mobilise as far as possible before any
attack commences, fighting until destroyed if necessary. As may be expected
serving on one of these boats is not the most popular of duties available to
the members of IP-Comm. The administrators of the Command have circumvented
this to some extent, however, by ensuring that the majority of the crews on
these ships have families on a planet in the system that the boat defends.
